What’s the Truth about Transformation? Do I need to?

Alright Lifeswervers, let’s chat about transformation – the kind that takes you from where you are to where you’ve always wanted to be. Now, you might be thinking, “Isn’t transformation just another word for change?” But here’s the truth: change is swapping a sweater for a T-shirt, while transformation is deciding you’re going to walk out into the world as your truest, most unstoppable self. Transformation digs deeper, shifts our whole mindset, and asks us to go big – be the highest version of ourselves. So, how do you know if you’re ready to transform? It’s that nudge you’ve felt lately - that subtle feeling like you’re meant for more.

I believe we are here to learn, love and transform to be our best selves. It’s a daily process. I am a new person everyday, but it’s important to be true to you. I am an early adopter, so when I started my transformation, I went all in! I implemented daily habits – meditation, exercise, journaling and stopped some bad ones - ice cold turkey. Resulting in releasing addictions – sobriety, healthy and fit, great relationships, purpose-driven and being curious about why I make choices that don’t fulfill my purpose at times. I have long given up the idea of perfection and try every day to give up shame.

For me, I want to be free of attachments to things that are not good for me. My “why” is living as a demonstration of what is possible to consistently become the best version or myself – and to share and help others along their journey. Perfection isn’t the goal – transforming every day is.

Brené talks about how embracing vulnerability isn’t weakness – it’s power. True transformation requires some honesty with yourself, acknowledging your fears and still daring to say, “I’m ready to change.” That openness and curiosity is the foundation of transformation. Once you feel ready to be a bit vulnerable, start by getting clear on what you really want. Is it a new career path, a wellness goal, or a fresh take on life? You need a clear direction for transformation to have a purpose. Remember – connecting mind, body and purpose is not written in stone – you can tweak it daily. As you transform, so will your goals.

  2. What do I feel drawn to do, even if it scares me a little?
  3. Am I willing to take small, uncomfortable steps daily to create something new?

  5. How will my life look – and feel – if I don’t make this shift?
